Lithium Battery Brands in Nigeria (October 2026): Felicity, Deye, Pylontech, Dyness, Blue Carbon and ITEL Prices
Across the 7 lithium brands Nigerian sellers price publicly, a kWh of storage costs from ₦135k (Blue Carbon) to ₦647k (Pylontech). A standard 5kWh 48V module runs from ₦940k (ITEL Energy 51.2V 100Ah wall/standing) to ₦1.75M (Pylontech UF5000).
The 5kWh module, brand against brand
Most homes on a 5kVA inverter buy 48V modules of about 5.12kWh, one to three of them. This is the fairest comparison, because it is the same job done by each brand.

What each brand is good for
- Blue Carbon — ₦135k per kWh. Large banks on a tight budget. Service in Nigeria: Thin — buy from a vendor who will stand behind it.
- Felicity Solar — ₦148k–₦286k per kWh. Lowest upfront cost, and being able to replace a failed unit the same week. Warranty: 5 years on LiFePO4 batteries (as advertised by the NG store). Service in Nigeria: Widest in the country — stocked in Alaba and most Lagos shops, so spares and swaps are easy.
- ITEL Energy — ₦170k–₦184k per kWh. The cheapest branded LiFePO4 per kWh we found. Service in Nigeria: Backed by an established Nigerian phone-brand service network.
- Growatt — ₦173k–₦287k per kWh. The sensible middle: better support than budget brands at about half the price of Deye. Service in Nigeria: Good — several Lagos and Abuja distributors.
- Deye — ₦197k–₦218k per kWh. Homes that will grow, 3-phase supply, and anyone who wants to see production on a phone. Warranty: 5 years typical, extendable. Service in Nigeria: Good — major distributors in Lagos and Abuja.
- Dyness — ₦237k–₦260k per kWh. 10kWh and larger banks, and small commercial. Service in Nigeria: Solar Depot NG.
- Pylontech — ₦342k–₦647k per kWh. The longest global track record in rack batteries. Warranty: 10 years typical. Service in Nigeria: Limited — a few importers.
Per kWh is the number to compare
Battery prices are quoted per unit, and units come in 2.4kWh, 5kWh, 10kWh and 16kWh sizes, so the sticker price on its own tells you little. Divide by the kWh. Then weigh three things the price does not show: the warranty and who in Nigeria honours it, whether the battery talks to your inverter over its BMS, and how many cycles it is rated for. A cheaper kWh with no local support can cost more over ten years than a dearer one that gets fixed.

Will any lithium battery work with my inverter?
Voltage must match (most 5kVA and larger inverters are 48V), and for the inverter to read the battery properly the two need a common BMS protocol. Deye, Growatt, Luxpower and most Felicity hybrids list compatible battery brands in their manuals. Send us both model numbers and we will check.
